Default clutch cable problems..

Ok , Trying to figure this problem out on a buds 91 gt. he just swapped trannys to a 5spd.. put a new oem clutch new throw out bearing a flywheel tha thas been shaved, a new adjustable qudrant, and adjustable cable... ok when u push on the clutch pedal on order for the fork to move u need the clutch cable fully adjusted in.. and then it makes the clutch pedal so hard to push u blow out a nut trying.. What can this be, he has done replaced teh clutch onced aready and throw out bearing... could the flywheel be to thin? also how do u adjust the adjustable quadrants??? this may be the problem also.. but hes tryd 3-4 differnt cables nothing is working.. and his quadrant is really loose.. u can sldie it side to side a lil more then normal the one on my car is pretty solid.. thanks guys

Default RE: clutch cable problems..

I had a perfectly working clutch except it was slipping a little so I took it out decided to put in a reman flywheel and new clutch......afterwards the clutch to get it to shift right you had to push it all the way to the floor and it would engage just about 1 inch off the floor no matter how I adjusted it......4 month passed this way and had to pull the motor so while it was out a friend in a package deal with a tranny he had thrown in a sfi approved almost new flywheel so I figured what the heck why not put this in ...it sure should be better than that cheap a** napa crapa reman slugg and what do you know it solved my problem!! most those damn reman flywheels are cut just below or at min spec and the damn nerb inspecting them lets it slide and figures ita be awright!!! huh like he** it will!! anyway might be that the flywheel is cut below spec??? seen it alot
