Default Back firing problem

ok so i just recently put some new mods on..afr 165 heads, bbk ssi intake and a trickflow cam...with my blower at 6psi i made 374rwhp and 387tq the car is running great and im putting some miles on it its been about 2,000miles since work and dyno tune were completely but for the past 500 miles or so i am experiencing a back fire and a bucking right around 5300 rpms...everyone behind me says it blasts out a big black cloud of smoke as if its running rich....the only problem that i incountered was the BBK SSI intake manifold was sucking down a ton of oil because the PCV system on these is such a poor design..so i pulled the hose of the manifold that connects to the pcv and cap that fitting and i now have my pcv running to a ventable catch can...im just trying to figure out what and why this is causing it to back fire around shifting point?

oh and i also noticed that when i was cleaning my motor i found that one of my spark plug wires started to burn on the header...but it just got thru the outer covering down to the braided wrapping undernear...and on that same wire where itconnects to the cap, the caps nipple was rusted and had a write residue on it like it..i know i need new wires too but i dont kno if that would make me backfire
