Can you please clarify...

the rubber part on the white part that goes into the firewall needs to be ripped off and the 4 bumps underneath need to be filed down so the firewall adjuster sits flush

I understood it good... I actually remeber it being said a while ago and there were some pictures to go with it. I had forgotten about this but when you mentioned it, I knew exactly what it was. I may be going this route soon.
