Leaking Tranny Cooler Line *help*
I was driving home from registering for my upcoming fall semester of college and when I was leaving, the top line that connects to the radiator which is a transmission cooler line broke "again".
Originally after my H/C/I the line was shooting tranny fluid everywhere so I cut the about 2 inches out and replaced it with some pcv hose and to clamps. Now the PCV hose split and starting shooting the fluid out again... What can I do to fix this? The PCV line is like a temporary fix more than anything but now I have that big gap since I cut most some of the hard line out... Any suggestions would be appreciated...
I just cleaned my engine bay yesterday and now I have tranny fluid all over the place...

RE: Tranny Cooler Line
if you don't want to remake a complete line you can go to the parts store and buy a double flare tool and a piece of tubing the legth you need and splice in a repair section....works on brake lines all the time or anything that holds pressure.

RE: Tranny Cooler Line
The rubber hose trick should work if you use good hose that is able to handle the pressure and fluid type. Get a good piece of fuel line and use that. It is a little easier to fix it that way than with hard line if you don't have the tools to bend the tube and flare the fittings on.
