Default 1262r's or 1265 intake gaskets?

this is for a roller 347 with tfs high ports and holley systemax lower. i guess my heads and intake are more closer to a stage 3.

i'm trying to figure out which size to get. i don't know if a gasket that is too big that it will cause a turbulance or not?

here's what measurements i got:

intake man.- 1.312"w * 2.218"h

cyl heads- 1.343"w * 2.218"h

so the heads intake ports are .031" wider than the intakes.

fel-pro 1262's measure- 1.280"w * 2.100"h....too small

fel-pro 1262r's measure- 1.400"w * 2.250"h....wider and taller

fel-pro 1265's measure- 1.350"w * 2.200"h......as close as i could find

the 1265's look like they are the closest ones to match. i'm thinking about getting those and using the dremel a little to match the height of the heads. the width would be perfect b/c the gaskets are only .007" wider.

another question is if the 1265's will work on my heads? looking on summit's website they don't look like they are for my style head.

i was trying to find other companies that might be even closer like sce's but they are farther off than the 1262r's. i tried mr. gasket but they don't list their gaskets dimensions.

i just want something as close as possible to cause as little turbulance as possible.

Why dont you call Trick Flow and ask them what gasket to use?

I use felpro 1262's on a different set of heads but the gasket is actually able to be trimmed some. Its designed so you can match it up. If the 1265 is a printo seal gasket then it can be trimed as well.

i just ordered the 1265's. i called trick flow and that's what they recommended....just like i thought. they are a trim to fit but come as the size i mentioned. so i can trim the gasket height a little to match up to the heads.

thanks guys!
