spool or not?

RE: spool or not?
I have a Richmond Powertrax locker, but mine is a daily driver. Since your's ain't I'd go with either a spool or a locker, whichever is cheaper. Since the drivability's not a concern the biggest factors are strength and cost. My guess is the spool would be a stronger and cheaper option

RE: spool or not?
If I were you, I'd order the spool/axles from Moser.
I've used there stuff before and it's all good.
While I was ordering, I'd get 35 spline axles, they are stronger than a 31 or a 33 by a bunch.
Just hope it never rains while you are cruising, life will get interesting.
I've always liked the spool idea as it's complete mechanical simplicity, nothing there to break.........

RE: spool or not?
im assuming you have or are building a 10-11 second car like your sig says. a 31 sline set up with a locker tightened up a little is enough for you. a spol really shouldnt be used on the street.
