RE: WHICH CAM??????
I wouldn't get to big of a camlike the x with the stock heads they flow horrible. You need to invest in a set of heads before going to big in my opinion. If the car is street car keep inmind thex303 has a veryloopy idle

RE: WHICH CAM??????
Why is everyone so CAM happy. A cam is worthless with out nice heads. And untill you get heads you really wont have any idea as to what cam to get, even then it's a crapshoot. Alot of people reccomend custom grind for a reason, THEY WORK. OTS cams are ok but unless you just get extremely lucky you leaving potential power on the table.

RE: WHICH CAM??????
You have stock heads(crap) with a reasonably big manifold and a big carb, and who knows what cam. That's a completely mismatched combination which is why it's slow. It can't make power anywhere because it can breathe effectively anywhere. If you put a stock 4bbl manifold/carb on it it'd prolly make more power everywhere. And yes, you at LEAST needs heads

RE: WHICH CAM??????
is this an 83 motor? that would make it flat tappet. factory flat tappet cams are WEAK as hell, and you can gain gobs of HP by swapping cams even with stock heads.
btw, your 670 is WAY too big for what your doing - you need something no larger than a 625 but most likely a 600

I know which cam the eninge shop put in and I know that it's for an EFI car no duration (very low).......stock e6 heads on last motor ran 13.4's no bottle slow!!!! I think not....at least for stock motor, stock cam....just intake and carb., gears and street tires..........I don't want a peeing contest just advice.....but thanks
