Default ford 24# injectors

ok, so i'm looking at some injectors. part number F55E-A2E. these are the sport denso or something. will this work on a 5.0, and if so, will they work on a stock engine or does it need to be a heavily modified engine???

need more mods than u got to justify using them. you'll run way rich if u install them.

24's for lightly modified. your not modified enough to justify for them. do an h/c/i swap and then get some 30's and bigger fuel pump

30's should be fine according to previous convo with samseed. it keeps your DC's down in turn less stress on your fuel system. i think on a full h/c/i you should be close to 300 ponies which would justify for 30lbs injectors and have room to grow still

24# with that set up should work just fine. I know lots of people running around with 24s in very mild set ups,Intake, gears and TB with stock heads and they run just fine.

agreed, they will work. but for the cost why not buy 30's? they work too and the duty cycle is reduced and you have room to grow, its like porting e7's, why not just get aluminum?

24's or 30's? they'll both work, i recomend 30's but whatever you wanna do is fine, i'm sure samseed will clarify or someone else will with actual numbers on the injectors.

never said 30# would not work but they will tend to be even richer at idle then the 24# would be. now it he has some way to tune the EEC then the 30s would be even better. 24s will handle 300 hp without a problem.

the reason i'm looking at 24s is because i can get a good deal on some. i figure that if i'm doing the swap then i might as well get better injectors if the price is right...
