Hey everyone,

I have a 1990 GT. A while ago, the tone/beep that sounds when you leave your lights on & open the door with keys out of ignition (Same sound when you first turn the car on) started to sound like it was dying...it started to sound very slowly until months later, it finally just stoppedworking all together.

My question is, is there a part that I just have to replace? and if so where is it located in the car? Or could it just be a fuse?

Its under the dash. A little white/clear looking box. Id just leave it alone since it doesnt hurt anything. Its always been disconnected in our car.

where under the dash? Under steering wheel, behind radio, glove box? does the dash have to come apart to get to it?

Do you know what the actualpart is called? and where I could get one?
