89 5.0 gt, battery charge problem
Okay well I just bought my first stang for a working project. It is very well maintained and guy had other mustangs also. Body/interior bit neglected but will change that over time. Ok heres the problem, Something is drawing power , or shorted, or somethiing and causing my battery not to be fully charged and stay stable. It is a brand new battery. Gauge actually moves up when engine is reved up a bit in park. It will hold a half charge while doing steady speeds, but soon as I roll slow through parking lot , or go turn it back on its down almost to red area and has split hesitation from lack of power. So I know this forum amy not solve problem, but give me ideas as to what to look at first or in general.
thanks!

Not that I know of . Stereo is removed ( radio and speakers had been broken into). after the incident only thing the owner put in himself was a fuel pump switch. Now I notcie that there is a electric sound when driving, like a constant sound like when cars are first started and hear all electronics turning on.
