And cannot seem to figure out how, I just got my ignition pickup coil and am trying to get it in..

Anyone know how I can do this? I have a motorcraft distributor.

There is a roll pin that goes thru the gear/shaft. You have to take that out then the gear has to be pressed off. Then the shaft slides up out of the housing. You will need a gear puller to get it off the shaft and you have to be carefull not to fukk it up.

How do you get the roll pin out...Just push something through and it slides out?

And how much would the gear puller gear cost.

You need a pin punch and a hammer to drive it out. It's in there tight. You maybe able to rent a puller from autozone or the like.
