Default idle issues

i can not solve my idle issues for my life. The car, usually upon first starting (but will occasionally do it at other random times as well) will idle irratically while the voltage guage will drop, and bounce around way below average. Sometimes it will shut off. But runs flawlessly once on the road. replaced Mass air, idle air, EGR, EVR, and throttle position sensors. Alternator checks out good. No codes pull in the computer as when i took it to goodyear, it ran fine. Im lost and aggrevated....But i still love my mustang

yea i have a simmiliar issue, when i start it in the morning my cars now idling so low it sounds like i have a cam, i mean 500 rpm seams a little low for a efi engine, but once i get it on the road it runs fine

the only other things that i can even think of is maybe the pcv valve, or the air temp sensor...but im tired of replacing sensors blindly. i dont know if either of these will casue the problem though.

turn your idle up a bit, I would check for vacuum leaks if you have an idle problem.

does anyone know where to find an "easy to read" vacuum line diagram so maybe i can pinpoint a few lines to focus on?

Get a can of carb cleaner and start spraying your your vacuum lines, if the idle changes, you found your leak. As far as turning up the idle, there is a screw on the bottom of the throttle body that allows you to turn the idle up or down. I have fi also and I have had to turn my idle up a bit.

definitely going to be a vacuum leak if you changed all your sensors
