Default 89 alt upgrad Qs

after searching forums think I need to upgrade my alt . The power gauge moves when reved and goes back down at idle and read someone else say its the alt then. As far as I can tell it has the original in it and I want to conter to this 3g 95A. is this the right one? and do I ned anything else (talks about the wires that all 3 have be used, and honestly not sure whats on stock in mine.) http://www.paperformance.com/scripts...p?idproduct=45

Hopefully this fixes problem, has one mark above red before starting and when shut off, but doesnt seem to be draining further than that so I am pretty sure need new alt.

you can get a 130amp 94-95 alternator from any parts store for that price, as for wiring it, its cake!!

I would put a 130 amp 3g alternator in the car at least, instead of a 95 amp alternator. I put a 200 amp alternator in my car, and it fixed my charging and light dimming issues

Any 3G will require you to rewire it, it is a walk in the park, I read the directions one time and did not have to reference it again for the connections.

I used a sawzall, or you could use a cutting wheel or a hacksaw.
