Default Brake lights not working...

My brake lights aren't working on my 92 5.0 and I changed the number 1 fuse (yes I used the same 15 amp fuse) and am not sure what else to check for... I looked by the brake pedal and around the fuse box and all wires seem to be loose but i'm sure there is a fairly simple explanation possibley.

If anybody can help me out that would be great!

there should be a plunger style switch up at the brake pedal. should have 2 wires going into it. jump the 2 wire connector with a paperclip and see if the lights work.
