RE: Light bolt-on upgrades
if you get gears you want a place to install them unless your very tech savy. should run ya 400-700 installed.
if you want heads and intake for under 1k. gt-40 (non-p) and typhoon intake or gt-40 intake. i reccomend typhoon because it can be worked later for bigger gains. i'm getting RHS heads, very good and very cheap compared to most. might wanna save and get a good set of heads. dont forget all supporting mods, its gonna nickle and dime you to death!
go for some gears right now

where would be a good place to purchase gears, also are they hard to install?

Also, if you want a free mod, advance your base timing. There's a good atricle in the Tech sticky at the top of this forum. You can advance it from your base timing of 10 degrees BTDC to about 16 degrees BTDC. That will net you some free HP / TQ and will give you better throttle response. BUT if you do that, you will ahve to run a higher octane fuel.
