i took my 88 out today and i miss shifted 2nd pretty bad.., and now the gears wont go in, only when the car is off. i tryed turning it on with 1st gear in and the car started moving without popping out the clutch..? could it be my clutch..?

coulda broken the pressure plate, bent the fork, coulda smoked the clutch too, but i doubt that.
if the pedal doesn't really feel any different, tho, it might be an internal problem.

yah sounds like a perfect time. your gonna need quite a few parts tho.
if you got longtubes, plan on maybe having to buy new headers.
need a flexplate too.
do up the TV cable, and i would go with an auto computer.

i was waiting for somethin like this 2 happen but not this soon.., but sure enough i have everything i need because i gutted my last mustang.., but i have just one ?? about that flex plate.., is it a thin plate thats about maybe 2 feet by like half a foot wide..? because i have that..!

well i got tired of thinkin and hoped in the car put it in 1st turned it on and popped the clutch went 5 miles per hour and heard a clink noise and now back to normal...! it works like it was before..! thanks for the help tho.., but im still ganna do the swap 2 weeks from now on my next check so i could buy another torque cnvrtr with a bigger stall like 3,200 stall!
