on the stock h pipe, there is a little tube that connects to each side of the h pipe, right before the cross over in the h pipe...the little tubes runs from down there all the way up into the engine bay somewhere....what is that? Do i need that on an off road mid pipe?

Its the fresh air pipe. The smog pump pumps fresh air into those to help the exhaust gases flow. An off-road pipe doesnt need it since the gases do not have to pass through a cat.

Most off road pipesshould havethe hook-ups for all emission equipment, like the smop pump.

Better leave it in tact, you have emissions don't you. Mine is connected and functional.

Hook it up right, if you don't then you have to do something with the pump, and honestly you are not going to gain anything by removng it.

Yea, better check what you need for emissions before you cut and ditch anything you may regret later on!

well here lies the problem, the off road h pipe i bought used for $25 has the hole for it welded shut
