ORIGINAL: FASTBLACK

Dude, just take it back. If they are respectable mech. then they will stand by their work.

Lesson: Next time, do your own work so there is noone to blame but self.
Hold up, if he supplied the parts, it's not their responsibility to stand behind them. if the t/o bearing is defective, plan on paying labor again to have it replaced!!

That's true but if he wants it fixed and he is not willing to do it himself he will be paying for labor anyway. He at least has a chance with the original mech. if the mech did something wrong.

I'll leave it for a week and see if the problem goes away on its own. If not maybe I'll just take it apart myself.

Well I got a new one put in, same clutch. And WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It was definetely the clutch. The surface on the old pressure plate was definetely faulty. The new clutch feels 100% better. Right form the very start it engages/disengages perfect. Shifts perfect and no ticking sounds. And my work paid for the cost of getting the replacement put in. So all in all it cost me $320 canadian to get my clutch/installation/rear main seal. So everything worked out okay.

Didnt touch th ecable or the quadrant. Just clutch. Cable and everything is stock. The problem was 100% faulty clutch.

Glad you got the problem fixed. And you also learned a lesson, just because it's new doesn't always mean it's good.
