what can be removed to loose about 100-200lbs safely?

yes i just went through that thread. i complelty forgot about it, thanks. but what does a t top 86 hatchback with no a/c, no pw/pl and carb weigh???

i think it's safe to say it'll weigh about 3200 w/ no driver as a guess

my '93 notch was just weighed, 5-speed , no smog, no sway bars 1/2 tank gas + driver(150lbs) = 3265 lbs

both sway bars = 40 lbs (29 + 11 i think)
i think the smog pump was 15 ? somewhere there

spare tire, jack, all carpet / matting under hood and in trunk

all that should get you very close to -100

aluminum heads will drop 50 pounds, aluminum radiator, flywheel, and drive shaft. Fiberglass hood helps too. Just some of the things I've done to reduce weight.

like i would liek to remove./change: alluminum rad, heads, driveshaft. i would like to get rid of: sway bars, jack, tire, i tokk all the sound proof stuff out.

one day it might go back on but now its off, lol.

Mine weighs in w/o me in it and a half a tank of fuel 3060lbs. I also have aluminum heads, 'glass hatch, and plastic upper intake. Heavier wheels too I guess.
