FRPP B303
I was reading in one of my latest mustang mags & in the article they used a b303 cam with a FRPP Cobra upper & lower on a stock 92 block with stock Mass air. Everything else is stock except the headers, exhaust, clutch,& plug wires. Is the cam going to be beneficial with this setup? Would it be the same with a speed density 87 5.0 H.O.? The article didnt post any specs as far as hp. & tq readingsand I was just curious if anybody might have this setup or some input ifthis will gain any power over stock? Thanks guys!

RE: FRPP B303
you might see a peak increase of maybe 15hp, but you might lose some where you used to have it, throughout the rpm band.
just swapping a cam & intake on because you can, doesn't mean it will work correctly. it must all work together, otherwise you will have an inconsistent powerband.

RE: FRPP B303
i had my b-303 with ported stock heads, headers and 2.5 inch exhaust, and a eddy rpm 2 intake on my stock bottom end and ran 13.6 all day long on motor, i made 246rwhp
it lost some bottom end torque, but over 3000 rpm the gains were worth it.
