Default under drive pulleys

hey guys is it true that having under drive pulleys makes your battery run low voltage? and if your driving for a while and shut it off and try to start again it wont start? if so what would i have to do to prevent this problem? because im stuck with these for now do i have to make sure i have someone around to jump my car? what do you guys do?.

yes it's true

use the stock alt pulley or carry a charged up jump box

just get a better alternator...that charges better

Ive had no charging issues at all with my UD pulleys, with an oem charging system. The only time the voltage is relatively low is when at idle.... but even with headlights, blower motor, and radio going at once I really have no trouble. I think its just somthing that happens with worn charging systems and people tend to blame the UD pulleys.... in addition to having a bunch of electrical stuff running.

i've never even had the voltage dip in the least in my car, there is absolutely zero difference in charge since i installed them...but i have an sn-95

another way around it is to get aluminum pullies...not steel... they make them lighter instead of changing the size of the alternator pulley.....

I never had an issue with my underdrive pulleys and charging issues (beforeI got rid of them for the s/c)
