It means you have to add coolant. You might have a leaky heater core or if you cant see any coolant on the ground, you might have a blown head gasket. Do you notice white smoke while you drive the car by any chance?

It means you are obviously loosing coolant somewhere. Is the car getting hot? Is it leaking puddles on the ground or on your floorboard? Can you smell anything unusual? If so, that is bad. If not and you cant see any leaks then that may be real bad, you may be loosing it internally. Look at the inside of your oil fill cap for milky looking goo, What color if the coolant that is left in the radiator? Is it dirty brown and rusty looking?

well i added coolant 2 weeks ago and today i had to ad more cause it was empty the reserve tank or whatever for coolant, and i went a few places and it was leaking on the ground i didnt look where but when i got home i parked on the drive way and i was trying to see where it was leaking but it wasnt leaking anymore so going to wait a few to see if it starts leaking again.

So sence it is leaking out of somewhere it shouldnt be that bad right sence its not leaking into a headgasget or something right?

crawl under and take a peek.
if the water pump is leaking, usually the balancer will be wet too.
