'91 GT Heater Control Issue
The heater control **** won't turn in my GT. More precisely, it will turn if you use a pair of vise grips on the post that the **** is attached to, but even that takes a lot of effort. I tookthe glove box out and grabbed onto the lever sticking out of the heater box and found that it's easier to move than trying to turn the ****. Has anyone else had this problem?

RE: '91 GT Heater Control Issue
Mine is so hard that I broke the **** trying to turn it....
It is not quite hard enough that I need vice grips...but it is not too far off
There is a steel wire on the back, I know there has to be a way to get some WD40 back there...but I never tried. Let me know what you find out

RE: '91 GT Heater Control Issue
Just got it apart. The cable seems to be the problem. It's really tight. However, I also have to replace the A/C / Heater / Fan controls because the tight cable caused the heater control to break. I'll let you know if a new cable fixes it.
