Started the install on my 4:10's today and need some help.

Hey guys im installing Motive 4:10 gears in my car and was wondering how do i get that retainer in teh carrier back in?

I broke it when it came out and have a new one. It seems impossible to get in. Is there a special tool?

Some needle nose vice grips.

I used big vise grips and a hammer. It takes quite a few tries to get it in right.
