Default TW vs AFR vs RHS

Well.... TF was the **** to have about half a year ago, then everyone jumped on the AFR boat for a while. Now everyone is talking about this RHS head. So, letsmake a thread withan actual comparison with facts as to WHY one head might be better than the other.

If it's a stock shortblock, I still go for the TFS TW. If you're rebuilding the motor and using pistons with better valve reliefs, then there are several that are good choices. If buying a head NIB, for the money, AFR will never be a top choice to me.

Only thing i dont like about RHS is the piston notching, as im sure adder will comment about me saying something bout that. Afr is good but only thing im debating is if there worth so much more than tw's cuz u figure they cose more to begin with then u need the spring upgrade. Each one probably works a little bit better on a different setup.

They are all good and perform similar.
Each has some small things that could be better, but none are bad
and each has one or two features that are a bonus.

The factory valve parts are known to be on the cheap side.
I just broke an AFR factory rocker stud that I swapped over to my RHS's

Supposedly they are coming with better hardware now and better springs and valves

RHS's are nice, but factory valve seats are known for being poor too.
RHS's look VERY similar to a Dart head.

AFR's are nice cause they come CNC'd from the factory.

you can go back and forth all day

Sounds like the TW is the best bang for the buck all day. Its also nice they get the 2' intake valve with stock pistons.
