60' times

60' times
I run 14.6 with 2.2 60' times, If I got slicks and pull off 1.7 60', what would my 1/4 mile times be. BTW I run 14.1 DA corrected. If I trap at 98 mph and I get slicks how will I gain enough Mph to trap at 100+?

RE: 60' times
Well for every .1 off your 60' its worth a .2 decrease in the quarter.

RE: 60' times
for what it's worth, I'm getting 1.7 60' times with my basically stock engine and 4.56 rear gears with slicks and I'm running 13.60's or better but my mph is only 98+ mph due to the low rear gear. I did get to 100 mph with 3.73 gears in the rear a couple of years ago before I swapped out the rear end for a new 9" Ford with a spool, etc. which is helping get those 1.7 60' times. MPH at the finish line is more an indication of HP than traction, so what you need to get to 100 mph is some more horses under the hood and/or a lighter weight car.

RE: 60' times
well i dont know your mods but if you dont have a gear in the car i wouldnt get slicks, a buddy of mine but slicks with a stock gear and the car just bogged off of the line, 13s shouldnt be hard, i got 13.799 with just gear, exhaust, and some 2.0 60fters with crappy bf goodrich radial tires. I guess it just takes practice because my best run before i ran 13s was only a 14.2, but i guess it helped it was nice and cool outside.
