my god,i never thought it would make that much power!!!.. back to the drawing board, thanks everyone
You dont have a bad idea, just tame it down a little.

My plan is 357W with twin 60-1 turbos running 10-12psi and making in the 600+rwhp neighbrohood

600rwhp is enough to scare the crap out of you and take 95%
of anything you might come up against. Traction will be your biggest problem

You can easily do this with a stock 351W roller cam block
well maybe not easy, but with some patience money and work its very doable.

sounds good r barn... i have an aunt that owns a junkyard so i can get the turbos off diesels for free along with other misc parts they may have at my own leisure, now im trying to figure out my compression ratio... I know i want to stroke my 351 to a 393, I've made up my mind

I just don't know how im going to get an 8:1 CR... any recommendation on heads for the 351w that won't break the bank? I could probably get the heads and intake off a mid 90s lightning.. but i don't know if that'll flow enuff

I know this thread is old, but I was thinking about stroking my efi 351w to a 383 and throwing 14lbs of s/c boost on it

8.5.1 compression on 64cc heads and custom cam

I am shooting for around 600rwhp, what kinda numbers do you think it will be putting out

I really dont think 600 hp would be that hard to come buy with that set up. friend of mine runs a 408 with a d1 and out of the box Victors Jrs and a solid roller cam with a blow through carb says he is only making 5psi. (I think the gauge is off a bit) in a 3400# car and it runs 9.90s & 136 mph so do the math on that. But dont cut any corners on the fuel system spend the $$$ and get good high quality parts. are you gone to run EFI or carb?

Well I have a weldon for my car and my wifes has a Aeromotive. I think the best out there is a Weldon and the Magnaflow but both of them will set you back a few $$$. The big Aeromotive would work also.and big lines. I feed my pump with 12an and run 10an to the rails and 8an back.

Any big inch windsor+boost will net RWHP over 600, unless you are trying NOT to make power. It just depends on teh parts used, boost levels, and tune. And R.barn, I thought you were gona go with a hybrid setup?

ya i thought about the same thing with the twin turbo setup. But i learned you need usable horsepower. I was thinking a 351w to a 418 kit. That should be plenty of enough. Maybe later add a supercharger, but that is my plan for right now.
