I would reccomend installing the FMU as long as it has the disc in it for the 42 lb injectors, if it's got the disc for 24's it's going to try and push way too much fuel. Install the inline pump! Don't even drive the car with out either one of those things installed, it's just asking for trouble. You can ditch the FMU if/when you get your car tuned. Are you putting a 255lph in tank fuel pump in also?

in the directions for the fmu is only says stuff about the 19 and 24 pound injectors so i dont think its ogin to work with 42s.. as for the intake pump it is a 255lph walbro. so u think ditch the FMU and use the inline pump?

very nice.... the guy that owned this D-1 before me had a cobra intake like me with a custom cam he had victor joinors and i just have a very reworked gt-40 so thats the only big difference in the h/c/i setup he got 15 pounds of boost at 6000RPMs and made 543rwhp/578rwtq... i was just hoping for about 500rwhp/500rwtq so i think i will be satified im just slightly unsure it will hold... i know a lot of people have done it and its no big deal for the most part is just only that second guess... im running it to 6500RPMs but cobra's stock crank pulley is a little smaller than a GTs so i wont get quite as much boost as he did... the pulley size is very minimal tho... i was thinking after i got ever thing tuned in if i want the little xtra boost that id go to a salvage yard and get hte gt pulley for a few bucks.... ez pound or so of boost... probably only 15 bucks or so... if i have a safe tune it should be ok tho wouldnt u think??? i mean i know **** happens but its not pushing it to hard is it?? is on a cobra stock bottom end of course
