It's THE race in my state every year. We generally get ESPN and have an NHRA event once a year and the Clash of the Titans comes to my state usually 3 times a year. But the annualBuick-Ford Shootout is THE race. It's anything Buick powered vs. anything Ford powered. They must be full bodied street cars. You may as many qualifying passes as you want and they keep the best one. Then it's No. 1 vs. No.1, etc. It's a team event. It's basically 90% Mustangs on the Ford side and 99% Grand Nationals/T-types on the Buick side. Everyone from the smaller team gets to race and that many cars from the larger team. You get one race in the finals and that counts towards your team score. Last year the Fords won. I believe it was something like 57-54 Ford. The Buicks come from across the country. It's their 2nd biggest race in the country for the year. The Fords come from mainly here (Oklahoma) and Texas.

Here are some videos of it.

This is me in 2005 with a HUGE header leak. I had 3 cylinders running pretty much open head. As you can hear the guy on the video, I don't care. I'll just blow it up and let it sit for a year. This is the ONLY reason to even have a car.

full you may have a point on the price, but how much does a simple elbow cost (i know i know probably way overpriced, but even still how much?) cause i did a quick google and saw a upper/lower systemmax II for like 589 on ebay (i think it was polished too maybe)

I run a Wilson elbow. It's about $220. The Super Victor is about $350. A Spyder elbow is only $140.

The Sheetmetal elbow like from Bennett are that much or more. The cast ones are cheaper.
