Looks like it sticks out kinda far, you will probably need rack limiter bushings. I went with 17x8's and had no issues. 9 inch wide on the front is done everyday, but I knew 8's would fit with no mods

yeah i bought the rack limiters to put on when i get tires. i think they stick out kinda far too. but lots of people use 17x9 on front, don't know why mine look so wide.

what conversion did you use and what's the back spacing on those rims. They def stick out too far and will look like crap.

i have no idea what the backspacing is or what conversion means. i bought them from americanmuscle.com they are four lug for 87-93. i don't know how the backspacing could be changed for the better though because they come like a quarter inch from hitting the strut. maybe i should just send them back.

Oh sorry. I thought they were five lug and you dd a conversion. Take the wheel, lay it on it's front face, take something like a yardstick or straight edge and lay it across the rim. Now measure the distance from the hub mounting surface to the straight edge. That will give you your backspacing.

i guess my question is how do other people run 17x9 on the front? since these are set back i think as far as possible into the wheelwell. they cant go in any further without hitting the strut. i could buy a used tire and see how it looks.

backspacing is 5.71 and offset is 18mm. here's a pic of a car that has same spec wheels (backspacing and offest)

http://customerpics.americanmuscle.c...=28087&id=1985

maybe it just looks weird because there are no tires on them.
