Id say 200k, but most last 250K and then they need a rebuild depending on how the engine has been treated. But expect anywhere from 200k-300k

'88 LX 5.0 HO, 308k+ miles. No major problems, blew head gasket at 225k, repaired myself. At the time of repair I found no visible ridge and saw what looked like the original honing marks on the cylinders. Compression measured within 7%. I've had the car since 44k miles and have never changed the clutch. My 17 yr old daughter drives it to school now, still runs strong, uses a little oil between changes. Gets 23+ mpg hwy.

I kid you not guys. I have used the 'usual suspect' engine addatives and faithfully change oil and filter every 3k. Most of the miles that I have put on it have been freeway. This car has by far been the best value.

Whew, I have 116k on mine and I thought that was a lot.. It's just a baby compared to your kev, It runs like it is brand new though.. It does however have a new Cobra clutch.
