question for roundman re: speedo gear install?
when I get back to town, I getting my gears installed, and I want to know how much more it would be to have them replace the speedo gear too? is this a labor intensive job? roundman?

some of us other peeps know stuff too, its not labor intensive unbolt the cable from the tranny and i think theres a clip holding the gear on, replace and bolt it back up

ok ok sorry, I should have posted the question to the group...so I have access to a pit, so it shouldnt be a big deal? does the cable go in on the top of the tranny or on the side where its easier to get to?

See, I ain't the only one who can help you on here! LOL and they're right, it's easy to do it yourself, takes very little time to do. I would think the shop could install it for you when they do your gears for very little labor cost, no more than .5 hour. this way the speedo will read correctly when you pull off the shop lot and help keep you from getting a speeding ticket! LOL
