Im thinking now i have the hci done i should get my car running to its fullest potential, i read on another post i can phone order a custom chip, or go to a dyno tuner and I found granatelli is close to my house and they charge $200 bucks an hour. What to do fellas should i go to granatelli or order one and where does anyone recommend in southern cali thats good.

Well im not big on mail order because every car is a little different. Dynotune or self tuner (Tweecer and Anderson)is the only way to go.

I believe tweecer is for do it yourselfers im not familiar with andersons, are they here in california?

Anderson is out in illinois by me, they dyno tune, but i was referring too there tuner device thats a little more user friendly than the tweecer.

have you heard any good or bad things about granatelli and how long do you guesstimate it will take for em to tune it,
its like 200/hr,

If theres no real mechanical problems with the car and runs fine no misfire etc etc then they will only spend one hour tuning it if thats all you pay for, might take time for them to get too it if they get a lot of business. I dont know why you would want to take a car somewhere that doesnt get a lot of business anyways though.

i hope so because anything over 2 hours is too much, might as well spend that money and buy the tool and do it myself, I have a dyno at work but its for checking emissions and ive never taken it over 60mph i dont think it was made for high speed or checking horsepower but i can see if its running rich or lean or if its misfiring, for example hc co o2 co2 and nox its a 5 gas analyser. Do you guys think it would be useful???
