Default bigger alt?

if im putting on u/d pullies and an elec fan will i need to get a bigger altinator? if so what size?

It prolly won't help much, if at all. The UDP's will turn the alt slower at idle regardless, and even a bigger alt still has a power curve and will discharge at idle, though maybe not quite as much

A bigger alt will help some. I went with a Powermaster 130 after I put mine on and have been fine.

nahh 93 fox.

soo do you guys think maybe just forget the pullies? i asked around town and my mechanic said that they are not owrth the time or effort with how little hp gain and the low battery charge.

I have them, but don't know if I got much, if anything from them.

There is a bunch of other stuff you can do where you'll realize bigger gains.

When I put my pullies on I noticed a pretty decent gain. I'm running a 140a alt with pullies and discharge some at idle, but have no charging problems. Works fine. Gears would give you a bigger boost than pullies would though
