What I am trying to ask, how do these cars compare to like, 3-series BMW's? Toyota MR2's? Other RWD sport coupes, I am not talking about performance in any way shape or form, just handling!

[/quote]umm there'z no doubt that when compared stock,bmw,mr2's,300zx's,supras would outhandle both mustang and camaros.both bmw's and mr2's have multi link rear suspension but on the other hand mustang and camaros have solid rear axle,that makes a big diffrence.when comparing straight line performace u do want a solid rear axle...multi link suspension have problmes with wheel hops in the straight line..not a best combination to launch car properly off the line.

Thanks, straight line performance doesnt really matter over here though.

Drag racing, no one is interested in either.. being quick, from A to B is whats important, but the road isnt a drag strip or a freeway, its tight twisty, with lots of corners.
