i use mobil 1 full synthetic 10w-30 along with a mobil 1oil filter.

i've always used castrol gtx 10w30 in my 69 and my 95 5.0's. i used to only buy fram filters. now i think i ill buy motorcraft.

im using motorcraft filters from here on out, purolator and wix also seem to be pretty good.

As I said earlier Wix is the manufacture for the Motorcraft filters. I was impressed with the cut STP filter too I have used those in the past off and on with good results.

5.5 qts of castrol 20w50 and 2 qts lucas. i run the accel 8.8 spiral core wires.

I just threw some Supertech (Walmart brand) oil in mine.

Ive heard mixed things about those brands....arent they recycled oil with additives? But I put pennzoil 10w 30 in mine

actually the motorcraft filters are supposed to be "purolator pure ones" check the pic, the pure one is the blue filter next to the ford. that article says ford swaps around with manufacturers though - but i cant imagine them going from a quality filter to a crap filter

Yeah the only thing that rubbed me wrong was that the motocraft had a rubber band around the actual internal of the filter...i doubt it does anything to is but i also hope it don't need the band because it be bad if the oil gets hot enough to break the band apart...
