Yeah sounds like a new wiper motor is needed......the flasher relay I believe on some modela was in the fuse box and or behind it but like on my 92 the 4 way flasher is in the fuse box and the turn signal relay is clipped up by the steering column....you have to remove the lower panel to gain access and reach up and get it....that's to say yours is set up that way......best way is get a parts locator manual and apply that to the year of your car

the blinker relay is a quite a b!tch to get to, you're best to take out your seat and crawl up under your dash, its a small gray box about 1in x 1in and has 2 braided wires running to it, ones brown and pink, and ones brown and... yellow? dont quote me on that i'll check tomorrow to be sure for ya. but when my blinkers went out, that wasnt the problem. it was my turn signal switch itself, so i had to get that whole assembly replaced. I'm not sure how common of a problem that is. As far as your wiper motor goes, if its only occasional and you can tap the motor and it works, its most likely gonna be just a new wiper motor.
