oil pressure

when i changed my oil the oil pressure was slightly higher than normal for maybe 15 minutes ....then it went back to normal (around halfway on the gauge)......why did that happen?

is it worth it to pay $12 for an oil filter?...i got the K&N but do i really need it vs. the $3.49 fram filter

Get the ford one. motorcraft fl1a but i know they have a high performance one for high performance cars.

pressure spike is because of the new, thicker oil. no worries.

i run the SSP filter, because i have a 1" thick screw-on magnetic filtration system that goes under the filter
