i'v had this car for about 2 weeks now and just getting into fixing things. a couple questions for anyone who wants to help out.

1sr question i got the front and rear window trim off (going to paint the car) but how do i get the side trim windows off i tried and i cant see how they are on there.

2nd question, the car i have is a 92 5.0. it has a cam (not sure what one) t5 with cobra clutch and 373 posi. with that being said so you know what i have. it idles realy ruff almost like an old car would that was all beefed up. and it will idle up and down but wont stall .. comes close but stays running. when i get on the gas the car moves something fierce and drives fine. the guy i traded with said it needed o2 sensors which i just bought today. someone on here mentioned going through and giving it a good tune up. which i plan on doing as well. but should i be looking for anything in particular other then those things?

final question, would there be a lot of maintance if i put a turbo on this car ? or would it be smarter to get new heads, uppr and lower intake to get around the same gains.

oh shoot forgot one more quicky, do i have to do anything to upgrade to the 70mm throttle body? i bought one and was'nt sure if it was bolt up and go or if i had to do some tuning.

with the idle...I'd perform a koer/koeo test if all checks out.... then since your replacing the t-body cleanind won't be an issue but when you transfer the IAC motor over clean it and with the TPS sensor you'll have to dial in the initial voltage reading but you'll need to set your basr idle first with IAC unplugged then set your TPS TO .96 TO .98 VOLTS and perform a idle relean procedure.... this is in the stickys I believe so just follow the instructions and you should be fine....as far as the turbo goes it's not that there is a lot of matinence ..it's that you need to get a fuel system to support it and any accompanying hardware and most importantly a good solid tune to it for saftey and longevity of the motor

thanks for the info. i'm not a gear head so a lot of flew past me so i'll print this thread out when i take it in to have a mechanic look it over and let them decipher for me lol but again thank you.

The rear quearter window trim is what your talking bout i think. And you wont be able to get that off kuz its all part of the window. You have to take the whole window out. And it is a job.
