which key do i need

i remember i needed some sort of key to take off and put on new brakes on my old car this was some time ago so i dont remember what it was now im taking off mine from my car since i crashed it and i wanted to know what key i need i believe its a alien key if im not mistakenn...

anyone have any ideas...
