Take a punch a knock the crap out of it on one side inwards towards the block. It should spin around half way and present itself in a way you can grab it with some pliers or channel locks. Pull it out, clean your hole up with some sand paper or what ever you have to clean it up as long as it's clean, apply some Aviation Permatex to the new one and around the hole in the block, not to much but enuffand drive in the new one with a socket that fits just inside the plugs rolled lip with a 2 or 4 lbs shop hammer. Drive it in as deep as the other ones in the block. Let it set for acouple of hours to be safe or over night to be best and refill coolant system and off you go.

thats pretty good, but regular permatex works great, you only need to coat the hole, and as soon as its installed you can refill (it IS a press fit)
