hey im doing the a/c delete on my 1991 5.0 and it would help if i had some pics to see how the brackets mount. and what can all be removed.

The 88 LX I just bought doesn't have AC, but I don't pick it up until Tuesday or i'd try and help you out.

how much do you save by an ac delete? thinking of doing one myself, ive got a vert[sm=dontgetit.gif]

you save weight mostly, and you can remove the a/c radiator in front of your regular one, maybe help cooling ever so slightly.

Nothing but weight...The AC compressor shuts off at WOT anyways.

I ripped it out of my car, less stuff to break on me, the lines were rotted anyway, plus I have t-tops....

though I have no pics for you, cuz my car isnt fully together yet...

but yeah, it only removes weight, I dont remember how much 10lbs? 20?

nah more than that. the compressor itself is a good 45lbs

really? feels alot lighter than that IMO... then again, I lift heavy stuff at my 2nd job all day.... so even wheels feel light to me sometimes...
