Default tranny problems

I think my transmission is messed up and i am going to take it out but was wondering can i still start my car with the tranny out to see if thats where all the sound was coming from? its a 95 347 with stock t5 5speed.

if you can think of a way to get it to turn over without a starter spinning your flywheel

wtf? why wouldnt the starter spin the flywheel? yes dude remove the trans w. the 4 bolts from it to the bell housing and youll be fine

If you start it, be sure not to mess with the clutch pedal, or remove your throw out bearing or you will wished you had.

yes DO NOT touch the clutch at all... like no just no dont do it...


and long day? yea i hear that... 10 hours(typical m-f) multiple brake jobs, few oil/etc jobs, ****ed w. a ford automatic in an f150, ****ed w. a POS focus that took literally 10 min to drive on the rack, because *** boy had it so ****in low, and an *** load of sound **** in it... ghey... and a few other things that i just cant remember.... o yea... 2 trailors did wheel bearings on them... again, more i just cant remember, lol

what kind of sound do you hear and where does it sound like its coming from? I assume its coming from the trans but if you could be more specific

Well it pretty much sounds like stuff just clunking around and when i push in on the clutch it kinda tones the sound down a little bit and there is also no evidence of any kinda shavings or whatever in the oil so im hoping its not a motor problem
