Default Best way to align mufflers and tailpipes?

Just curious what you guys think is the best way i recently put my exhaust back on had to get it inspected with the stock h pipe and put my old h pipe back on. I've tryed a bunch of different things to align the pipes but it still slightly hits the upper control arms. Maybe i need new rubber insulators? Should i do it at the muffler then the tailpipe or align the tailpipe first? Thanks

i always put the exhaust on loosely from the front to back then tourqe from front to back. if you need to use a crow bar to bend it the way you want the tighten it as you have it

sounds like you tightened before you checked anything. loosen them and turn them.

Yeah thats what i figured i would have to loosen the h-pipe to muffler bolts and then align the pipes. I'll wait till next week when my new rubber insulators get here that was one of the problems all of them are kind of worn and the tailpipe burned up part of the sidewall of my new mt et streets
