Installing a torque converter?
 
Im putting in my stall next weekend. Its a 90 AOD tranny. Just wanted to know if anyone had any sugestions or tips.Thanks

becareful unbolting it from the flexplate. on my buddies 95 bronco 351w they were right handed threads and the bolts are extremely soft

What stall speed did you end up going with and what brand? How did you pay, i'm ordering mine soon but am trying to gather up the money financially to buy the edge converter for $500...

make sure it seats right, turn it clockwise while pushing in and ull feel it pop in, but spin it some more to be sure!!

it will slide in three times... I have delt with my torque converter and all sorts of goofy problems in that area of the drivetrain since I started my 5.0 swap... make sure it doesnt get knocked off alighnment, it gets to be a PITA if you have to keep pulling out the engine or dropping the trans(which I may have to do.... AGAIN...
