LOL you dont just drop the oil pan!! Its a leson learned .. DONT QUIT!! You know we all make mistakes, so next time i bet you have the holes plugged.I would drain oil see if it comes out, then use a flexable magnet to fish the pan. Just remember there are 2 plugs. Go purchase a really strong magnet from Sears they can pick up 5 pounds!And you either have number one wire off or you are a tooth off or maybe just timing but dont start car until u find the FOD. Yeah I tryed the whole magent thing spend over 60 bucks on different tool to try and get the damn thing out. I dont want to drop the pan becasue if I do that I am going to want to tear the whole engine out and rebuild it once I start something I have to fully complete it.. TERRIBLE PET PEEVE... Soo if it goes in the engine it goes I guess I am pretty sure It will not go anywhere soon I left a 10 mill wrench in the oil pan of a Mazda Truck for about 2 years sooo I am sure this little nut will be aight I am going to try one other idea this weekend and see what I come up with I have a new wireing harness and distributer/Coil on the way along with a custom chip soo then I will tell you what or how much of a difference these mods made right now it is still running liek garbage. I switched back to my 19ers and have to re tune everything....

I will keep you all posted I have a good idea......

Oh yeah and roundman I mostly always plug that damn hole but you know how it goes that one time that you dont do it it ****ing happens .....lol...my luck..... As well I know for sure its in the Oil Pan already had the engine running and it didnt suck it up soo I will try washing it through with some oil thats my only hope as well I am going to try a Magnet on some bailer Twine
