Ok soo I was jsut getting the car ready to go back together and I dropped a ****ing nut from the intake into the dizzy hole what the hell shoudl I do not I am sure its in the oil pan

Yeah I tryed that damn thing already and had no luck so I put it all back together and tryed starting it only to start a big ****ing fire under the hood for some reason not knowen yet I was able to put it out with no lack of excitment, and now I am finally going to break down and take it to a mechanic, I am sick of dealing with that damn thing.

That may be the safest thing for you to do...

try changing the oil pull the plug and keep using the same oil to push it out you can try a big magnet to move it to the drain plug hole...reason it's back firing is I bet your 1 tooth off...don't quit on it

dude why did you start the car when you knew your engine had a foriegn object (metal nut) sitting in there somewhere? that could cost you the whole assembly!!!

good idea from vfast about the magnet, how much diffrence did the performer heads make

try looking down the dizzy hole with a small flashlight and use the magnet on a stick to fish around as best you can in there to see if you can retrieve the nut. also try what vfast said to do as this might just wash it out if it made it down into the oil pan.
helpful hint for the next time, always stuff a shop rag in that dizzy hole to keep things from falling into the hole when you drop them. this applies to any hole like in the lower intake, etc when you are working around the engine.
