Which will cost you another grand

First, how is your engine?
I think you should keep your GT engine with that amount you could get a H/C/I kit and have more HP than the stock cobra 94 engine.
You have to remember also that our computers suck (94-95) so you will need in addition a chip and tune.
Good luck.

if u dont care about getting the most out of your car you dont NEED a tune, mine runs very good without one but you can tell it definitely has more in it...

If you fork out 1000 bucks for a tune you better get some crazy **** with that tune. A diablo tune, install, and dyno runs shouldent cost more than 600 or so.

RE: 94 gt and 94 cobra
yeah, basically what i ment was you can wait for the tune if cashflow is tight, i am hoping i pick up a good amount of HP and TQ since compared to my friend's car it's not quite where I want it.
As for liking AFRs i really like them as an out of the box head. They may not outflow some of the RHS and Canfield heads but they still have good power potential. If you want to buy a head to get it ported you might wanna look elsewhere, but they come with awesome CNC porting

RE: 94 gt and 94 cobra
LoL @ Adder
I got them from www.c-f-m.com when they were running that $1284 shipped special and got the spring upgrade for an additional $60. I just checked their website and they dont have any heads listed on it right now so i have no idea whats up with them. I've heard from a few people that AFR upgraded their springs to something substantial and there's no longer a need to upgrade, but I have no idea what kinda spring they use, best bet would be to call AFR.

onyx where did you get your heads? also what did you do them about the valve springs... ? I was told to upgrade them..
