Had a T5 in my car with 373 gears, and it went 12.50 in the 1/4. Iwould shiftat 5000(cause of my cam power band dropping off at 5400)and would go through the traps at 5000,so it worked out well. Well recently have been breaking T5's and was getting sick of buying new ones, so put a C4 in my car this week, what do you guys think i should do with gears or do you think it will be ok if i still shift at 5000??? Gonna try it out this week to see what happens. Its a pretty well built C4 with TCI valve body and rebuild kit, no tranny brake. The converter is about a 3000-3500 whatcha guys think????

its gonna slow down bout a tenth or wo but you will be alright with those gears

well 4.10's in a c4 is a bit much for a street car, so i'd stay there if it is a street car.

also were you shifting off the stock tach or a good one?

Stock tach, i need to get one of the big bastards, but havent yet, how far off you think it is??
