That's how it should run. Issue resolved. Problem fixed. All is well.
A vacuum hose is NEVER supposed to suck in unmetered air. It either is attached to a sensor or component OR is plugged up.
Your Mustang should run 100x better and even see an increase in MPG.

I'm still going to terar down the intake side and make sure nothing is in there that shouldn't be. It was all VERY odd, especially to start and stop so quickly...
